Woman charged with killing roommate

At Foxwood Hills yesterday, Oconee Sheriff’s Office arrested a 37-year old woman on the charge of murder on Monday near Westminster.  According to the sheriff’s office, Carrie Leigh Tyner is accused of shooting roommate Rodney Johnson in the head at 405 Hobson Street.  Investigators learned that a white female wearing a tank top and shorts was seen running toward the Toccoa Highway after the reports of shots fired. They say they identified that female as Tyner.
