Wofford Basketball

The Wofford women’s basketball team pushed the Florida Gators to the edge Thursday night at the Exactech Arena at Stephen C. O’Connell Center, putting forth a game-tying shot attempt in the closing seconds that could not quite hit the mark in a 66-63 loss in the first round of the WNIT. The Gators improve to 17-14, and the Wofford season ends with the Terriers at 22-10.
