Walhalla, SC — Willie Harley Bates, 74, husband of the late Sara Rachel Garrett, of 705 Highland Glen Court, Walhalla, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017, at GHS Cottingham Hospice House.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Maranatha Baptist Church with burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Davenport Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oconee Hospice of the Foothills, GHS Cottingham Hospice House, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672. The family is at their respective homes.
