WGOG programming note

WGOG Radio recently switched to an HD transmitter to accommodate the translator of our sister station, 94.1 The Lake WSNW. To a small number of WGOG listeners who are now hearing the station on high-definition radio in their cars, a skipping-type reception may result.  This can happen when the driver leaves our HD signal coverage area (which is smaller than our main FM coverage area).  At that point, radio reception switches from analog reception to HD reception and back, which gives the appearance of skipping.  Most of our listeners are not tuning in on HD radio, and they are completely unaffected and will continue to hear the signal with no difference.
