Westminster’s early start without the juice

Westminster electric power customers were lamenting the fact that their day started yesterday without lights.  Here’s the explanation of what happened, as gathered by city administrator Kevin Bronson:  “The rain (Sunday) this morning caused a tree limb to fall on an electric line.  The line was close to the electric substation which caused the circuit breakers to trip.  Power was lost to most of the city.  Crews responded, found the issue and corrected it.  Power was restored around 9:30 am.”
