Westminster mayor joins board of state group

The mayor of Westminster, Brian Ramey, has been chosen to serve a three-year term on the board of the Association of South Carolina Mayors.  Ramey joins mayors in Estill, Georgetown, and Goose Creek for three-year terms on the association board.  The association was formed in 2011 under the umbrella of the state municipal association to allow mayors to more fully engage in advocating for issues that affect cities and towns, share best practices with other mayors, and take part in educational activities.  There are 125 members of the Association of Mayors.
