Webster Bruce
Walhalla, SC– Webster Bruce, 73, of 208 North John Street, Walhalla, SC.

Webster was born in Anderson County, SC on June 30, 1949, to the late Roscoe Bruce, Sr. and the late Victoria Whitner Bruce departed from his earthly home, Saturday, July 16, 2022, at his residence.
Webster was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend.
Webster was a 30-year Veteran of the United States Army. He was employed with Phillips Fibers, Seneca, SC and the Oconee County School District.
At an early age he joined the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Townville, SC and at a later date he joined Richland Baptist Church in Seneca, where he remained a member until his death.
Webster leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife, Wanda Chapman Bruce of Walhalla; two daughters, Tiffany Bruce of Seneca and Talia Bruce Hoekstra of Walhalla; two sons: Marcus Robinson (Charmion) of Greer, SC and Brian Nathan (Taneshia) of Augusta, GA; two granddaughters, McKenzie Marie Hoekstra and Aria Brielle Bruce; one brother, Roscoe Bruce, Jr. and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Bruce, Sr. and Victoria Whitner Bruce; son, Kylie Webster Bruce; daughter, Courtney LaVerene Bruce; and granddaughter, Adrienne Cherie; brothers, William C. Bruce, Paris Bruce, Billie Joe Bruce and Claude Bruce; sisters, Elizabeth Thompson, Martha Gantt, Airleda Wideman, Bernice Turner and Helen McPherson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Seneca Baptist Church with Dr. Rondey Bolden officiating. The committal service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 25, 2022, at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, July 22, 2022, at Davenport Funeral Home.
