“We know we are saving lives”–Hunter Kome

The chief operating officer for the Prisma Oconee Memorial Hospital, Hunter Kome, today used slides and statistics to inform Seneca Rotarians of the latest COVID-19 news involving the local hospital, the community, the state, and the country.  Kome met with the Rotarians in a Zoom meeting.  After explaining the hard work of the hospital staff since the pandemic was declared, the hospital C-O-O presented an optimistic picture of the latest decline in cases, in hospitalizations, and deaths, along with his belief that, contrary to some thought, a goodly number of Oconee County residents are lining up for the vaccine.  Starting this afternoon, some of those statistics recited by Kome can be heard on 101.7/WGOG on-air newscasts.
