Washington state’s loss to be South Carolina’s gain?

Reports attributed to The Wall Street Journal indicate Boeing is expected to announce this week plans to consolidate 787 Dreamliner assembly in South Carolina.  That would mean the airplane maker would end the production of the jetliner in Washington state.  U-S Rep. Jeff Duncan of South Carolina’s 3rd District calls Boeing an already integral part of South Carolina’s economy and says the further move would drive additional economic activity for the state.
