Wallace Lee Spoon

Seneca – Wallace Lee Spoon, 86, husband of the late Esther Lee Freeman Spoon, passed away Thursday, May 27th, 2021 at his residence.

 

Born in Westminster, he was the son of the Lee Spoon and Effie Lee Sullivan Spoon. Wallace retired from the textile industry, a member of the Masonic Lodge #92, a Hejaz Shriner, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Seneca Chapter #5, and a member of Seneca Church of God of Prophecy Church. Wallace was an avid hunter who had a great passion for raising, black and tan and blue tick hunting dogs.

 

Wallace is survived by a son, Steven Spoon (Heather) of Seneca; daughter, Dianne Spoon  (Henry Ramirez) of Seneca; sister, Evelyn Evett of Fair Play; four grandchildren, Missy Burgess (Rick), Marcy Molloseau (David), Kathy Ramirez (Garnett Ramsbottom), Nichole Harbert (David); and numerous great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews; caregiver, Jennifer Evilsizer.

 

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by sisters, Irene Harvey, Louise Hancock, Grace James Doolittle; brothers, Edward Spoon and Jack Spoon.

 

A graveside service will be held at 5:00 pm, Saturday, May 29th, 2021 at the Courtney Memorial Cemetery.
