Walhallan hoofs it on the AT

Walhalla’s Wayne Garland is doing exactly what health authorities suggest that vaccinated Americans do this upcoming holiday weekend.  He’s getting a lot of fresh air, courtesy of his long trek on the Appalachian Trail.  Garland, an avid hiker, is hoping that during the Memorial Day weekend he’ll be departing New Jersey and entering New York state.  Garland’s hike of the Georgia to Maine trail has been interrupted once, but one he’s determined to finish.
