Walhallan charged in scheme alleging insurance fraud

The state police arrested a Walhalla woman on the charge of presenting a false claim for insurance benefit—a value between two and ten thousand dollars. SLED says the case against Robbie Leigh Eades, 29 years old, involved the creation of a fictitious company to file a claim for car repairs. A warrant alleges Eades filed a fictitious estimate for repairs to State Farm Insurance in the amount of $6,058.40. “This incident occurred at 363 Stewart Drive, Salem,” according to the warrant. Eades was jailed in the Oconee Detention Center.
