Walhalla senior experiences the “power” of the U-S government

On a youth trip to Washington, DC a Walhalla High senior experienced the power of the federal government.  It was a fascinating moment for Logan Addis once he sat in the gallery of the House of Representatives where the country’s laws are made.  And Logan would like to return to the nation’s capital to work as a congressional intern.  According to the August issue of “South Carolina Living”, Logan Addis of Walhalla High, along with Elli Berry of Seneca High and Aubrey Richardson of Pickens High were student delegates on the Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative-sponsored, all-expenses paid trip.  A second Pickens student, Savannah Pace, was sponsored by the Central Electric Power Cooperative.
