Walhalla Man Arrested

The Walhalla Police Department has charged a Walhalla man with multiple counts after his arrest Tuesday evening.

21-year-old Oseas Vazquez has been charged with Discharging a Weapon inside the City Limits, Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol, Pointing and Presenting a Firearm and Burglary – 1st Degree.

According to Walhalla Police Chief Sean Brinson, the incident occurred at an address on East Wesley Street in Walhalla at approximately 7:05 pm Tuesday as officers were dispatched in reference to reports of a disturbance and shots fired in the area.

According to arrest warrants obtained by the Walhalla Police Department as a result of the investigation, Vazquez did unlawfully carry about his person a black and silver Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun which was located in his front waistband.

Vazquez is also accused of pointing the firearm at another individual unlawfully and not in self-defense.
