Walhalla delays mobile food vehicle enforcement

Walhalla will wait until the first of January to enforce rules that govern the operation of mobile home food trucks in the corporate limits. City Council’s action last night followed discussions with one mobile truck restaurateur and the operators of a wine bar who say their business has been boosted by a Main Street food truck service. Part of last night’s discussions dealt with a change of plans by the Oconee Station food truck to remodel a storefront into a brick and mortar restaurant and, as it was explained, re-locate to Seneca.
