Walhalla Council can count on a busy meeting night

The agenda for the April get together of Walhalla’s elected leaders runs four pages, which bodes well for a long night next week at city hall.  Their meeting will be 5:30 Tuesday evening.  The council will hear from Dr. Michelle Hall, a Clemson poultry specialist, at a time whether the city should relax its rules about wildlife and, in at least one case, re-authorize raising chickens at a time of troubling inflation.  The council also will consider a S. Catherine Street work contract, receive the city’s FY ’22 audit, and decide whether the YMCA will operate the municipal pool for a new season.  Planned as part of an executive session is discussion of a contractual real estate matter.
