Voting for Municipal Election Day underway

Absentee voting is underway at county elections offices across South Carolina for local elections November 2, such as the municipal elections in all five Oconee County towns and cities.  And if you are a qualified voter in those municipalities, you may vote now, provided you meet any one of a number of criteria that determine absentee voting eligibility.  The state Election Commission reminds voters that the special provisions for absentee voting in last year’s General Election have expired and a qualified reason is required to vote absentee this time.
