Voter registration deadline is Sunday

To make your vote count on primary election day next month, you must be a voter in good standing. Sunday is the fast-approaching deadline to be registered with your county voter office. Sunday’s deadline applies to anyone not registered who will be 18 years old on or before November 6; any voter who has moved to a new county and has not registered there; and anyone who has moved from another state and has not yet registered in South Carolina. County offices are closed today for Confederate Memorial Day. The office of the Oconee Registration and Elections will conduct regular hours tomorrow. You can also register online at scVOTES.org before midnight on Sunday.
