Veterans Holiday Reception

(Walhalla)—Oconee County Veterans Affairs Director Jerry Dyar along with his staff…Eric Suttles and Tanya Adkins are rolling out the “holiday red carpet” on Friday, December 14th for all area veterans and wives. “The Oconee County Veterans Affairs Office will take the occasion to spend some time with all our great veteran heroes on this day”, said Dyar. Throughout this coming Friday Oconee County veterans are invited by for coffee, hot cider, and lots of other holiday refreshments. The long-time VA Officer said, “We just want our veterans to know how much honor and pleasure we take in being caretakers of their office. Oconee County is home to more than 7,000 veterans and we have the distinct privilege to assist and serve them in any way possible.” The local VA staff hopes as many veterans and wives as possible will take a few minutes at some point this Friday and “drop-in” for a little holiday cheer and lots of smiles. Dyar also extended many thanks to the Oconee County Veterans Council, The Home Depot, and our Oconee County Government for helping us wish all our veterans a collective Merry Christmas and Happy and Healthy 2019 ahead !!!!!!!!!
