Two votes cast on matters of litigation

Seneca elected leaders received advice from their attorney and, upon recessing from a closed-door meeting, they passed two motions on matters of litigation.  Only one of the matters was specified, and that was Chace v. Seneca.  It’s a recently renewed complaint against the city, the city’s board of appeals, and Ed Halbig, the planning and community development director.  The Chaces lost an appeal to the board of appeals on a short-term rental vote that went against them two years ago.
