Two suspects implicated in Goodwill trailer fire

 

Two people have been implicated by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office for this month’s fire in a tractor-trailer that was backed up to the Goodwill Industries store near Seneca.  One is Athens, Georgia resident Jennifer Elizabeth Beanes who remained jailed today, charged with third degree burglary, petty larceny, and third degree arson.  The second is a suspect for whom the sheriff’s office has posted a Crimestoppers alert.  He has been identified as William Mark Mize Jr., 35 years old.  Both Mize and 33-year old Beanes are also identified as suspects in a separate incident two days later on Rainbow Row near SC 183/the Walhalla-Westminster Highway, in which Mize is accused of attacking Jason Randall Mauldin with a knife.  Beanes is accused of accessory after the fact of a felony in that incident.  If you have information on the whereabouts of William Mark Mize Jr., you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 1/888-CRIME-SC.
