Two Oconeeans moved from one jail to another

Two Oconee County residents have been jailed in Walhalla, after being held by Jackson County, North Carolina authorities.  All of this resulting from warrants issued in Georgia, a subsequent car chase February 2 on highway 11 which eventually ended in the North Carolina mountains.  The two incarcerated have been identified as Amy Denise Fleming of Westminster and Artis O’Neal Wright of Seneca.  Oconee Sheriff’s Office today announced the following charges against the two of failure to stop for a blue light, reckless driving, possession of methamphetamine. Wright also faces charges of driving under suspension, probation violation, and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
