Two Oconee school workers are award winners

During an employee recognition ceremony this week, the Oconee School District recognized two of its standout employees.  The media specialist at Seneca Middle School, Cassondra Moore, was named Teacher of the Year.  Moore is known for enthusiasm, a commitment to students and the school community, and positive outlook on life.  She’s to receive $1 thousand and represent the district at the November conference of the South Carolina Teacher Forum.  There’s also a nice hunk of change, $250 dollars, in store for Nancy Ratliff, receptionist at Seneca High School.  Ratliff was named Support Employee of the Year.  Among her attributes:  the ability to extend warm greetings, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help others in a variety of situations.
