Two more Seneca rallies rumored

Seneca officials are expecting at least two more rallies of protesters–one this afternoon and on Sunday evening.  They are hopeful that, like Monday’s, these protests will be peaceful.  City leaders were glad Monday’s event went well and concentrated on the senseless loss of George Floyd’s life, as well as the need for the police everywhere to make greater efforts to try for a rapport with minorities to ensure that these kinds of death stop.  Scott Moulder, city administrator, says he will make himself available, if requested, to speak with the leader of today’s protest.  He and Councilman W-C Honeycutt, an African-American minister, are in agreement that the city should form a small committee for discussions on how to improve relations.
