Two Clemson students near medical and doctorate degrees

Two juniors at Clemson University are a step closer to their goal of medical and doctorate degrees.  Clemson was selected to take part in the Beckman Scholars program, and now Nathan Matzko and Shaoni Dasgupta receive stipends of $18,200, plus funds for research supplies and travel.  The Clemson program director said both Matzko and Dasgupta were selected on their academic excellence, research accomplishments and research potential.
