Two arrested after Seneca apartment incidents

Two women have been arrested in the investigation of attempted murder and burglary last night at the Seneca Gardens Apartments.  The arrested women, one from Seneca and the other from Anderson, were placed in custody by the Anderson Sheriff’s Office and remanded to the Oconee Detention Center in Walhalla. Shortly after 7:30 last night, a Seneca police officer responded to Laing Court to investigate a possible gunshot wound.  The officer was told two people walking to their apartment they were approached by two subjects who started to assault them.  This led inside the apartment unit where a gunshot was heard and one victim bled from above the right eye.  According to arrest warrants, Sheryl Denise Johnson of Anderson and Littol Mali Townsend Green of Seneca are charged with attempted murder and burglary first degree.
