TSA PreCheck enrollment event

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport rolled out a screening program this week to allow travelers to avoid some of the long lines associated with air traveling in the post-9-11 era. Through tomorrow, the I-D verification service IdentoGo has a TSA PreCheck mobile unit in front of the airport terminal building near Parking Garage A, and appointments are preferred at tsa.gov/precheck.  But walk-ins are welcome also. The program is designed for identified low-risk air travelers and allows them to avoid the requirement of removing shoes, liquids, laptops, and the like as they make their way to their flights.  There’s an $85 cost and those who apply should being personal identification documents.
