Trustees to mull mask rule

At 5 o’clock this afternoon, Oconee school trustees convene a special meeting with one item on the agenda:  potential mask mandate due to increase in COVID-19 cases.  At Walhalla High School, the number of students who’ve tested positive three weeks into the new year is approaching 100.  And, by way of text announcement, Razorback coach Padgett Johnson announced that the Razors’ next two games are cancelled.  Walhalla’s first game of the year is now scheduled to fall on September 17, a home game against defending state champ Daniel Lions.
