Trustees chairman gets a peek at the audit

The chairman of the Oconee school trustees, Jerry Lee, was among those who took part in an “exit” interview with the district’s outside auditors who tonight officially report the results of the latest audit.  According to Lee, all seems to be in order.  The audit is to reflect the spending and the revenues of the public schools for the government year that ended June 30.  The audit is on the agenda tonight for a combined work session/regular meeting of the county board.  That meeting, to which the public is invited, takes place at district headquarters in Walhalla starting at 6 tonight.
