Truck driver had a previous cardiac history

The Oconee coroner has ruled death by natural causes of a truck driver this morning on I-85. The victim was a 55-year old resident of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Addis gave this account: “There was a minor motor vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer reported at approximately 2:40 am today; it appeared the driver of this vehicle realized a medical event was occurring; he slowed his vehicle and pulled off the road; during this process the truck did impact an information sign erected along the interstate; the tractor trailer then stopped after running off the paved surface.” First responders and EMS tried resuscitation efforts, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:28 am.” Addis says his office learned from family members that the truck driver had a previous cardiac history.
