Trotting out the next school budget

If things continue at current pace, Oconee County will eclipse the mark of $100 million when it comes to public school spending. But, for the next year, the spending is being pegged at $99.5 million. It’s budget time within Oconee County government circles. Monday night the county school district will place its spending plan for 2018-19 in front of the public for feedback. If you have a question or comment on the next school budget, you are welcome to express it during the 6 o’clock work session of the county trustees. The trustees will meet in the board conference room of district headquarters.
