TRENNA RAMEY
Mountain Rest – Trenna Dale Ivester Ramey, 75, wife of the late Charles “Jim” William Ramey, passed away on Sunday, July 16th, 2023 at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, Trenna was the daughter of the late Jasper Ivester and Alma Ivester Moore. Trenna retired from Nason, and was a homemaker and a member of New Life Praise and Worship. Trenna enjoyed gardening, flowers, and attending auctions.
Trenna is survived by her children, Sherry Watson and husband Rodney of Westminster, Wanda Ann Moore and husband Russell of Westminster, Tracy Hendrix and husband Pastor Neal of Seneca, William David Ramey and wife Christy of Westminster; sister, Faye Smith; seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Trenna is preceded in death by a grandson, Josh Goodson, and her sisters, Christine Long, Dorothy Murphy, and Gwendolyn Jones.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at First Baptist Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home. The family will hold a fellowship dinner at 5:00 pm, Friday, July 21, 2023, at New Life Praise and Worship, 97429 Long Creek Highway, Westminster, SC 29693.
