Traffic changes at 93-123

The development envisioned on property that once was a textile plant near Clemson is going to mean traffic changes in Oconee County.  And at least one man wants the County Council to try to save what he called a “fly-off” lane that funnels traffic from Oconee toward Clemson University.  Robert Moore told the council last night that the county, as part of its infrastructure agreement with real estate company Casto, should intercede.  But, from the council’s standpoint, there are questions whether the traffic changes are the purview of the state DOT only.  County Administrator Scott Moulder says he is in the process of contacting the DOT’s district traffic engineer.
