Top choice saw Westminster too rural

The rural setting of a small city such as Westminster is just right for a lot of people, but it’s not what the family of a Florida man was looking for when he considered taking the job of Westminster city administrator. Westminster officials must continue applicant interviews after Jack Butler changed his mind and told the city Tuesday that he’s not going to accept the job. Mayor Ramey said, “Mr. Butler felt our area was more rural than his family would be comfortable with at this time.” Butler lives in Ocoee, Florida, not far from Orlando. The 2010 Census listed Ocoee’s population at nearly 35,500.
