Today’s South Carolina COVID-19 numbers

In the latest 24-hour period, cases of COVID-19 in South Carolina numbered 307.  Five of the new cases are Oconee County residents.  Over a three-day period, the number of new cases statewide increased by about 150.  Across the state, the death toll from the virus increased by five people. Of 5,624 test results received the positivity was 7.3%. The numbers reported today by DHEC reflect the 24-hour count by 11:59 Tuesday night.
