Today’s COVID cases in South Carolina

In today’s South Carolina DHEC report, 314 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed across the state.  Nine of those cases were Oconee County residents.  Statewide, there were five new deaths including a Pickens County resident who died July 3.  Of 7,694 test results received, the state positivity rate was 5.5%.  The numbers reported today reflect the data count by 11:59 on Wednesday night.
