Today’s COVID-19 rising South Carolina numbers

In key categories, South Carolina is trending in the wrong direction when it comes to protecting the citizenry from COVID-19.  On today’s report (of the numbers that reflect Tuesday this week), 474 new confirmed cases of the virus in the state, including eight in Oconee County.  Statewide, there were seven new deaths–three of which were this week in Anderson County. Of 6,153 test results received, the state positivity returned to the double-digit level after a long absence.  It’s now  10.8%.
