Tips to stay safe in summer

Whether you grill, swim, or boat this summer you’ll feel the heat.  A Clemson campus officer, Sgt. Kurt Kruysman, says it’s always a good idea to monitor your daily activity and drink plenty of water — to help ensure you don’t over-extend yourself.  Heat strokes are a concern during high temperatures.  If you’re out on the water, a life jacket is always a good idea, no matter your proficiency as a swimmer or a boater.
