Times to drop-off students change August 24

The School District of Oconee County has made adjustments to student drop off times for the 2020-2021 school year. These changes are necessary to avoid having large groups of students congregating in school buildings in the morning prior to school starting. Please be aware that due to the current COVID-19 situation,  these times are subject to change.  Any change will be communicated as soon as possible.

Elementary Schools – Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:30am. Students will be considered tardy when class begins at 8:00am.  Dismissal will begin at 2:45pm. It is possible that some schools will start student pick-up earlier than 2:45pm due to a large number of car-riders.

Middle Schools – Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:45am. Students will be considered tardy when class begins at 8:30am. Dismissal will begin at 3:30pm.

High Schools – Students may be dropped off beginning at 8:00am.  Students will be considered tardy when class begins at 8:45am. Student parking will open at 8:25am. Seneca High School and Walhalla High school will begin dismissal at 3:30pm.  West-Oak High School will begin dismissal at 3:35pm.
