Three Oconeeans added to the COVID-19 death toll

Three Oconeeans are among 36 South Carolinians whose lives were lost to COVID-19. Sunday’s DHEC numbers indicate a middle-aged Oconeean’s death resulted from the virus on Thursday, December 17; and two elderly Oconeeans died Monday, December 14 and Wednesday, December 16.  The statewide case count yesterday rose by 2,583; 61 of those cases are Oconee County residents.  Total test results received by the state health agency statewide were 11,553 for a positivity of 22.4%.
