Three days of COVID-19 numbers in South Carolina

South Carolina DHEC reported three days of COVID-19 case numbers covering Thursday through Saturday.  For each day, total cases numbers statewide exceeded 1,000:  1,286 on Thursday; 1,069 on Friday; and 1,017 on Saturday.  Oconee case numbers were:  31 on Thursday; 25 on Friday; and 31 on Saturday.  Added to the death toll across the state:  42 South Carolinians, Thursday; 28 on Friday; and 8 on Saturday.  Over the same period, the death toll included three Oconeeans.  101.7/WGOG NEWS’s unofficial count of county residents who so far have lost their lives to the virus is approaching 200.  The latest test positives based on thousands of tests for the three days:  7.2% on Thursday; 6.9% on Friday; and 5.5% on Saturday.
