Thomas Brown Jr.
Seneca –Thomas “Tom” James Brown Jr., 87, husband of the late Helen Jenora Timms Brown, passed away Sunday, July 9th, 2023 at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Anderson, South Carolina, Tom was the son of the late Thomas James Brown and Betty Byrum Brown. Tom was formerly a co-owner of Richardson Brown TV Sales & Service and was a longtime member, deacon, and treasurer of Parkway Baptist Church.
Thomas is survived by his sons, Donny Brown (Lou Ann) of Campobello, Tommy Brown of Seneca; daughter, Wanda Campbell of Seneca; sister, Betty Richardson of Townville, 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Kelley; son-in-law, Max Campbell; and 7 siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family from 10:00 am to 11:00 am prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
