The one-year anniversary of the lockdown

Senator Tim Scott, South Carolina Republican, says it was one year ago that the country went on lockdown to slow the spread of the coronavirus.  “Five hundred and twenty thousand Americans have lost their lives, and our nation will forever mourn that loss,” he said.  According to DHEC, Oconee’s virus death toll is now 128.  Scott believes better days ahead.  It was a year ago that 101.7/WGOG NEWS attempted to verify whether a case of the virus was being treated at the Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital, after we learned that in one office at the hospital they were applying a liberal spread of a bacteria-killing disinfectant to chairs and countertops.
