The mystery water leak on the 123 Seneca Bypass

Why water continues to leak onto a section of the 123 Seneca ByPass has proved a mystery and a source of frustration to the city crews who are trying to pinpoint the source and make repairs. Unfortunately, according to Bob Faires of the Light and Water Plant, the lack of written records of exactly where the water lines run is hampering repair work. Crews so far have done a lot of digging, but with no luck. The troubled spot appears to be a ByPass area bordered by a car wash and a Mexican restaurant on one side and restaurants and other businesses on the other. Faires says it’s quite unusual that the source for a water leak can’t be found.
