The meeting is set

It will be the meeting that Brian Ramey of Westminster has yearned for.  At the end of next week, a joint get together is planned involving the Oconee County Council and the Joint Regional Sewer Authority.  It will be 11 o’clock Friday morning, May 5 in the county council chambers in Walhalla. Ramey, JRSA board chairman, has said conferring with the council is important to the JRSA to help guide where there shall be sewer line extensions.  Sewer expansion is a frequent topic for the potential for new commercial development on the Seneca-Clemson corridor and for long-talked about economic development on the county’s four-mile stretch of I-85.
