The ingredients for a fire commission board

101.7/WGOG NEWS learned last night that in the crowd for the Corinth-Shiloh tax district meeting was at least one individual who is being recruited to serve on the board that’ll recommend the tax district millage and handle the hiring of the full-time fire fighters and other business of the station.  But how he and the rest of the fire board would be formed is a question now being researched by David Root, attorney for Oconee County.  Chief Christenbury says it’s possible that the fire board would be elected by popular vote of the Corinth-Shiloh electorate or appointed by the county council.
