The holiday weekend affords a last chance summer trip

Many Carolina residents are packing their bags this weekend to take advantage of one last vacation of the summer.  The motor club AAA Carolinas forecasts cheaper gas prices, travel numbers, and top destinations for those who plan to take advantage to get away during the Labor Day weekend.  AAA wants everyone to have fun, but make it a safe fun by paying attention to your driving and the driving of those around you.  The holiday weekend concludes the “100 Deadliest Days” — the summer period when crashes for teen drivers significantly increases.  The top driving destinations for North and South Carolinians are Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and Williamsburg, Virginia.
