The Chamber welcomes a new leader

A woman who owned a small business has been selected to lead the interests of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce at Seneca.  Crystal Romanyszyn on August 16 will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Brittany Kessler.  Romanyszyn has also served in various other capacities, including the chamber of commerce in Daytona Beach, Florida.  Darryl Broome, president of the Oconee Chamber, said, “It is an exciting day for our county!  We will be sending an official notice to our members soon.”  The countywide chamber maintains offices on highway 28 in front of Cliffabee Leas.  In the interim, the office has been maintained by a college intern and by members of the chamber board of directors.
