The Blundy campaign has begun

Practically simultaneous when the TV screen began declaring Trump the South Carolina winner Saturday a Seneca woman stood inside the front door of a local restaurant greeting a crowd arriving for the official start of her campaign to be the next chief criminal prosecutor in Oconee and Anderson counties.  Beth Blundy, senior assistant solicitor in the Oconee office, a 14-year veteran there, seeks to be the Republican nominee to run for 10th Circuit Solicitor in this year’s June primary.  There could be as many as three people seeking the office that David Wagner is vacating to retirement.  The Blundy campaign reserved a Seneca restaurant Saturday night for her official campaign kickoff, an event that also served as a watch party for the results of the GOP presidential primary.
