The 16th Leadership Oconee begins March 21

An Oconee County class that educates, motivates, and trains leaders returns for a 16th year on March 21.  Crystal Romanyszyn of the Oconee Area Chamber of Commerce says Leadership Oconee is an excellent personal and professional development opportunity for residents of all ages.  So far, since 2005, there have been 274 class graduates.  The new, 6-month course will start March 21 with an overnight retreat, followed by class meetings one day a month at locations across the county.  Topics cover county and region history, local and state government, healthcare and human services, education and workforce development, along with an awareness of opportunities to serve in the community. Applications are available at the chamber of commerce office, 2 Leas Courtyard Drive, Seneca or online at www.OconeeChamberSC.com. Applications may also be requested by email at [email protected].
